Local biotech CND Life Sciences is looking for people to participate in a clinical study.
- You should be 50 -100 years old
- Have a confirmed diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease (PD)
To participate you will:
- Complete an in-person interview, questionnaires, and clinical assessments that take about 2 hours
- Provide 3 small skin samples and a blood draw to be performed by a healthcare provider
- Come in for three follow-up visits at 6, 12, and 18 months that take about 90 minutes each and include clinical assessments, and repeat blood draw and skin biopsy procedures
Individuals who have severe vascular disease, are allergic to the local anesthesia needed for the skin biopsies, use blood thinners (aspirin or Plavix alone are allowed), have impaired wound healing, or have a history of scarring or keloid formation are not eligible to participate.
